Tree Surgeons Blog - Back at Berry Pomeroy Castle
This large sycamore tree was heavily decayed and had split which had come across a popular public footpath regularly used by visitors to the castle and horse riders too.
It also brought down multiple beech and lime limbs to that needed clearing and tidying up after.
The path is now back open ready to be used , and the timber is waiting to be extracted when our winch tractor is next on the estate for a larger job
Lovely start to the week in one of our favourite local spots
